OPERATOR-LED EXIT. TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS.
Your business deserves a
thoughtful next chapter.
MISSION
Partner with a business owner on an owner-led exit. Operate the business, preserving its legacy while stewarding its long-term growth.
FOUNDER
Christabel has spent 15+ years growing B2B services and software companies at the intersection of strategy, product, and operations.
As a strategy consultant at Ernst & Young (EY) in New York City, she led the development and launch of a digital wealth management product for a leading US wealth manager, guided leading US retail and investment banks through digital transformation, and advised a ~$2B Canadian family-owned metal recycling company on technology-enablement to improve operational and capital efficiency. Christabel then moved to Toronto to co-lead the national innovation program (Canada) and manage 20+ cloud and digital transformation initiatives at Amazon Web Services (AWS). After helping build and drive adoption of a VC-backed AI insurance claims SaaS, she built and led all customer and post-sales teams at a Y Combinator-backed data governance SaaS company (later acquired by Atlassian), where she doubled annual contract value while achieving a peak net retention of 112%.
Her experiences inform a distinct view of how technology can transform services businesses and what unlocks software companies’ growth.
Christabel grew up building her father's business over 20 years and later founded her own software company. She started Flora Partners to give owners a different kind of exit than private equity or a strategic sale: one committed owner-operator who will preserve their legacy and invest in their team for the long term.
She holds a BA in Economics from The University of British Columbia and an MPA in Advanced Management and Finance from Columbia University.

What Matters to Flora Partners
Every business is unique, and so is every owner's vision for what comes next. We're looking for one established, owner-operated company with a track record of steady performance, loyal customers, and a strong position in its market. It has weathered cycles and built something real.
We care just as much about culture. The businesses we admire have teams who take pride in their work and relationships with customers that last for years.
Most of all, we're looking for an owner who wants to see their life's work carried forward by someone fully dedicated to its people, its customers, and its future.

OUR PROCESS

Here is a typical process:
Step 1: Engage in exploratory conversation
We start by having an exploratory conversation, including introductions, overview of Flora Partner’s approach.

Step 3: Meet & greet (onsite)
We visit you, your management team, and the company to learn more about the company (current and future). We review additional information and discuss joint objectives. [1-2 weeks]
Step 4: Provide indicative offer
We provide a Letter of Intent (LOI), i.e. a non-binding offer with our proposed structure and price range. [2 weeks]
Step 5: Conduct due diligence
We conduct a full diligence process including financial, legal, tax, and regulatory review. [4-6 weeks]
Step 6: Sign & transition
We sign and execute the final purchase and sale agreement (PSA). We transition into operating the business and build on the legacy.
